Ongoing Prayer
We will be praying for all in our community, our nation and our world at this difficult time.
You may like to use the prayer below in the times ahead …
With our prayers and good wishes to you.

A prayer for the world
God of love and hope,
you made the world and care for all creation,
but the world feels strange right now.
The news is full of stories about Coronavirus.
Some people are worried that they might get ill.
Others are anxious for their family and friends.
Be with them and help them to find peace.
We pray for the doctors and nurses and scientists,
and all who are working to discover the right medicines
to help those who are ill.
Thank you that even in these anxious times, you are with us.
Help us to put our trust in you and keep us safe.
In Jesus name
Amen.

We will provide some more Prayer and Reflections here in the coming days so that even if you can’t get to church you can still have some space and time with the God who loves us and knows our needs.

How have we helped?

St Anne’s has been helping Burntwood Be A Friend throughout the entire Covid-19 Pandemic. We have given them use of our choir vestry for food storage and office space upstairs, both placed within the St Anne’s Church. Out on the grass outside the building, Burntwood Be A Friend have placed a tent, where on Monday morning’s 10am-1pm a food bank is held for those in need.

As we are now coming through the other side of the Covid-19 Pandemic and Lockdowns. Burntwood Be A Friend are looking at ways they can still help people who need the support. St Anne’s are always going to be more then happy to the team in any way we can.
